Four turnovers and two touchdowns nullified by holding penalties.
Those were the negatives Baker faced against La Grande in Friday’s Greater Oregon League football opener at Community Stadium at La Grande.
La Grande took advantage, defeating the Bulldogs for the first time in seven years, 37-24.
“It’s hard to win with four turnovers,” said Baker coach Dave Johnson.“And, we didn’t help ourselves having two touchdowns brought back because of penalties"
